I keep noticing all these diaries as of late.. and some of these things make me wonder…
1) user account has been around for a long time, but never used till now.
2) Brand new user account, but never a diary, just comments, and always comments on the SAME users posts/blogs.
3) Brand new account with a single diary, that is usually pretty much word for word a different diary that was posted a day or two before that didn’t get much attention.
I’m not the admin of the site, so I don’t know if DKos is tracking ip’s or anything, and I’m well aware its not super easy to proove someone or something is a sockpuppet. But it sure as hell makes me wonder.
For those wondering what the hell I’m on about.. sock puppets are an account made by an existing user to either agree with their own posts to stir things up that they wouldn’t do on their main account. The ‘fake’ account gets banned or whatever, their main account is safe.
